While visiting a MicroTouch.com (“MicroTouch”) site, we may ask you to register and/or provide information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”) for purposes of interacting with our site. We intends to give you as much control as possible over your Personal Information. If you choose to provide us with your Personal Information via a MicroTouch owned site, it is our intent to let you know how we will use your Personal Information. We uses your Personal Information to help you quickly find products, services or information on the site. We track the domains from which this site is visited, use that data to analyze for trends and statistics, and send products, services or other promotional material to you from time to time. If you choose not to have your Personal Information used as aforementioned, you may “opt out”. 4. Purpose of Collecting and Use of Personal Information

  • 4.1 Payment or Delivery Purpose.
    Certain MicroTouch products and services require you to provide your Personal Information solely to initiate payment and delivery processing. The information you provide to us will be shared with Agent as necessary to carry out the transaction. Any sharing of your Personal Information with such Agent will be made in accordance with the applicable Privacy Laws.

    4.2 IP Address.
    In terms of using the Site, we collect other information, such as your IP address to locate and consider the jurisdictions of your Personal Information. Please see our “Cookies Policy” for further descriptions of information collected automatically through our Site.

    4.3 Web Logs.
    We may collect information about how you use the Site such as general demographic information, viewership data, and other anonymous information, browser type and other information relating to certain service or product offerings selected by you.

    4.4 General Uses.
    In addition to the specific uses of your personal information described above, we may also make use of your personal information for the following purposes:

    • Conduct our business with our worldwide affiliates, consultants, and service providers;
    • Improve the Site and our products and services;
    • Deliver and support our services and products;

5. Administration

  • 5.1 Implementation. This Policy is meant to be implemented in conjunction with supplementary data privacy policies specific to a region, country or department, if required. These supplementary data privacy policies will account for differences in data protection requirements by jurisdiction or function and will specify individual roles and responsibilities.
    We will implement supplementary data privacy policies as required to be in compliance with applicable laws.

    5.2 Interpretation. In the event that local data privacy policies provide for stricter data privacy and protection standards than are set forth in this Policy, the local data privacy law will supersede this Policy in that jurisdiction to the extent necessary to comply with stricter local law.

6 Definitions

“Agent” means any third party that collects and/or uses Personal Information provided by us to perform tasks on behalf of and under the instructions of us.

“We”, “Us” is TES America LLC own the brand MicroTouch and conduct business operation in touch panel applications globally.

“Controller” means a person or organization which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the Processing of Personal Information.

An “Identified” or “Identifiable” individual is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to the person’s physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

“Personal Information” is information or data about an “Identified” or “Identifiable” (see definition above) individual. It does not include information that is anonymous, aggregated or in circumstances where the individual is not readily identifiable.

“Policy” means this MicroTouch Privacy Policy and its revised version announced by us from time to time.

“Processing” or “Process” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Information or on sets of Personal Information, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
